Gears 3 Beta Starts Tomorrow

Well, unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you already know this. But if you own a copy of BulletStorm, the Beta for Gears of War 3 starts tomorrow. Unfortunately, those who pre-ordered Gears 3 will have to wait another week.

Kinect on PS3

Well, this didn't take very long. It seems that hackers have finally hacked Kinect, and are running it on the PS3. These individuals provided a video, and a tutorial on how to perform this hack. Below is the video, and the link to the tutorial is below that.

Crysis is to Look the Same on Xbox 360 and PS3

After weeks of Fanboys boasting about which console is best, and arguing over which will perform best when playing Crysis 2, both sides will be surprised to hear that both copies are to look identical on the other console.

Microsoft Looking for New Graphics Architect: Job Description Hints at Next Generation of Xbox

Judge Approves Subpoena to Let Sony View IP's of Hackers Website

Well, it seems as if Sony is determined to shut down something they can't stop. On Friday Judge Joseph Spero approved a subpoena to let Sony view the IP addresses of visitors of a ps3 hacking website (I'll link you below, hoping you know that they can still view your IP address). The Subpoena also allowed Sony to view the IP's of viewers of a youtube video titled "Jailbroken PS3 3.55 with Homebrew". The subpoena also allowed Sony to view IPs of viewers visiting the hackers blog.

Battlefield 3 will look stunning on the 360!

“We knew that people would think that this demo was running on PC, but the good thing is that it’s all based on streaming,” added executive producer Patrick Bach. "I can promise you that the console versions will still look amazing because of the core technology. If you have a 360, we want to use that machine to the maximum.”

Those who did not go out and buy a copy of Bulletstorm, but still want the Gears 3 beta, are still in luck! When you pre-order a copy of Gears of War 3 at any Gamestop (and put $5 down on your payment), you will receive a Beta code. For those who pre-ordered before this offer, you can still go back to the same gamestop and pick up your code.

The beta will launch April 25th, for the 360 (earlier for those who already have access through Bulletstorm).

Our JTAG'd Xbox 360

Well, after some soldering, and some elbow grease IVIUPPET and I have successfully JTag'd his old Xbox 360. Below is a picture of the Xbox (Nice and Dirty) with the wires all over the place. If you can see it, above, projected on the wall is XEXloader.

Halo Reach

Couple days ago, Halo reach was leaked over Xbox Live. To play the game, unfortunately..you need a Developers console, or a JTAG'd (Console with Hardware and Software modification to allow unsigned code to be run) console to run it. Luckily, IVIUPPET and I had an old xbox laying around so we got to take a look (Video may be posted at some time).

The file has since been removed from LIVE.
